Emberflint Mine
All the indicators point to this place being an active flint mine, except one thing: where are all the miners?
Desperate Souls
As you make your way toward Emberflint Mine you will encounter Neposh crouched behind some crates on a raised wooden platform. He tells you that raiders are trying to enslave everyone and that the only thing left is their imprisoned souls. He asks that you pour Firesap Gel on the soul crystals which will then release them.
Emberflint Mine Location
Emberflint Mine is located in central Stonefalls. Raiders have trapped the miners’ souls inside small stones.
Travel north of the Fort Arand Wayshrine to find Emberflint Mine.
Emberflint Mine has one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.

Exploring and defeating the boss will reward you with the Emberflint Mine Explorer achievement.
Inside Emberflint Mine
Emberflint Mine is now inhabited by nix-hounds, scamps, and Stonefire enemies.
Completing Desperate Souls
This quest takes place outside of the Emberflint Mine. After you release 4 souls using the Firesap Gel, you return to Neposh who tells you his father is imprisoned by Fatestealer. Fatestealer is released by using the last of the Firesap Gel. She is a flying daedra creature called a Winged Twilight. She uses melee attacks by kicking with claws, spinning her tail, and screaming. She also does a wing flutter. Her aoes are easy to step out of and she is easily defeated.
Once Fatestealer is defeated, return to Neposh who rewards you with gold and the Ashwalker’s Boots which are not part of an armor set.
Maebomaz
Maebomaz is a clannfear. Clannfears claw, leap, and tail spike their opponents. The further away you are from a clannfear attacks his attention and he will leap on you and devour you. When fighting clannfears, it is best to stop as close as possible to avoid his deadly leaps.
