Stonefalls Crafting Stations

The Elder Scrolls Online

What Is A Crafting Set Station?

A crafting station is a specialized workstation where players can engage in the game’s crafting system to create, refine, or improve items such as weapons, armor, consumables, and furnishings. These stations are integral to the game’s economy and character progression, allowing players to craft items tailored to their playstyle or to trade with others.

Each crafting station is tied to a specific crafting profession, and players interact with them to perform tasks like forging, tailoring, or brewing.  There are several types of crafting stations, each corresponding to a distinct crafting skill line. For example, one type of station is used to craft metal-based weapons and armor, requiring raw materials like ores that can be refined into ingots. Another station focuses on creating cloth or leather gear, using materials like fibers or hides. Woodworking stations allow players to craft items like bows or staves from processed wood. Other stations are dedicated to creating potions and poisons by combining reagents with solvents, or enchanting items by combining runes to apply magical effects. There’s also a station for cooking food and drinks that provide temporary buffs.

To use a crafting station, players need the appropriate materials, which are gathered from the environment, looted, or purchased. The quality and effectiveness of crafted items depend on the player’s skill level in the relevant crafting profession, as well as any perks or traits they’ve unlocked. Some stations allow for the creation of items with specific bonuses, requiring players to research traits or meet certain conditions.

Crafting stations are typically found in towns or cities, but players can also acquire personal stations for their homes, offering convenience for frequent crafting. The system rewards experimentation and investment, making crafting a versatile and engaging aspect of ESO’s gameplay.

On your map, crafting set stations appear with a blackened crafting icon when you are close to a location.  Once the set station has been visited, the icon turns white.
