Solstice Summary
Solstice is a new zone in The Elder Scrolls Online, introduced as part of the Seasons of the Worm Cult 2025 Content Pass. This isolated tropical island, located south of Murkmire in Black Marsh within the Southern Sea, is a vibrant yet perilous region divided into Western and Eastern Solstice by the Writhing Wall, a magical barrier of souls and necrotic energy.
The island blends High Elf and Argonian cultures, featuring lush jungles, sandy beaches, and ancient ruins from both Argonian (Tide-Born and Stone-Nest tribes) and Corelanya Clan Altmer settlements. Its landscape includes unique flora and fauna like three-toed sloths, Vahath behemoths (feathered Argonian creatures), and Voskrona Guardians (stone constructs). Notable locations include Sunport, a bustling High Elf-founded city; the haunted Corelanya Manor; the Sanguine-themed Everlasting Fair; and the Ossein Cage, a Coldharbour-linked prison.
The zone is steeped in mystery, with a cursed reputation due to frequent storms and shipwrecks, and serves as a battleground against the resurgent Worm Cult, led by the enigmatic Wormblood.
