Ultimate Khenarthi’s Roost Zone Guide

Khenarthi’s Roost Area Description

This island off the south coast of Elsweyr is named after the Khajiiti goddess of weather and the sky, who is usually represented as a great hawk. She finds many worshipers among the cat-folk’s sailors and farmers, especially those who grow moon-sugar cane.

What Is A Wayshrine?

Wayshrines are shrines that were built to honor the Divines by being a safe haven point where players can revive if you die while adventuring in Tamriel.  Once you visit a wayshrine, it becomes available on your map for you to use to fast travel at no cost.  You can also travel to any unlocked wayshrine from anywhere in Tamriel for a price paid in gold.  This price reduces with time and also can be reduced by champion point allocations.  Each zone begins with one available wayshrine.

Khenarthi’s Roost Summary

Khenarthi’s Roost is part of the base game content in the Aldmeri Dominion alliance.  It is a small island off the coast of Elsweyr.    Moon-sugar plantations are operated by Khajiit and Maormer inhabitants.

After a devastating storm recently hit the island, Khenarthi’s Roost is now littered with broken ships, debris, and dressed Sea Vipers who are thought to have conjured the storm.

This is a great little area for new players to get the lay of the land when starting The Elder Scrolls Online.  Enemies are not as powerful nor plentiful as they are in other areas.  You can find skyshards, treasure maps, and learn how to use wayshrines while also enjoying exploration and a little combat.  Don’t overlook this tiny little island.
