Glenumbra, the westernmost region of High Rock, contains the city-states of Daggerfall and Camlorn, the great cemetery of Cath Bedraud, and the wild areas of Hag Fen, Glenumbra Moors, and the forests of Daenia.

What Is A Crafting Set Station?
A crafting set station is a crafting area that allows you to craft a specific set piece of armor. Often there are additional requirements, like a number of traits that must be researched before you can make an item of a specific set. While you can make generic pieces at crafting set stations, these are the only areas where you can the specific set that is listed. There is one exception – attunable crafting tables (which are ‘tuned’ to replicate set stations) can be obtained and placed in houses for use.

On your map, crafting set stations appear with a blackened crafting icon when you are close to a location. Once the set station has been visited, the icon turns white.

How To Obtain Overland Set Pieces
Players are rewarded for each boss kill with item/items from that boss’s loot table.
- Delve bosses drop a waist, foot, or another unique item piece.
- Overland World Bosses drop a head, chest, leg, weapon, or unique item piece.
- Public dungeon bosses drop a shoulder, hand, weapon, or unique item piece.
- Chests at Dark Anchors or Dolmens drop a jewelry set piece.
Even with Curated Item Set Drops, bosses with a specific loot table will only drop curated items from their own loot table. Treasure chests have a chance to grant any set piece from the zone they are found in. Click here to learn more about curated set drops.

What Is A Delve?
A delve in The Elder Scrolls Online is in essence a small dungeon. Delves usually contain a few enemies, at least one ‘boss’, and a skyshard. Delves can generally be completed solo. If you are a new player, you may want to explore delves with a friend. Most delves have an associated quest that you can get just inside or near the entrance. This quest is more a side story to the main quest of the area but does offer rewards for completing it.

On your map, delves appear with a blackened single torch. Once the delve is completed (by defeating the boss or bosses), the delve icon turns white.

Cryptwatch Fort
As the name implies, Cryptwatch Fort was once an underground mausoleum. It was later fortified by the addition of a tower during one of High Rock’s many internal conflicts.

Travel north from the Crosswych Wayshrine to located Cryptwatch Fort.
This delve has one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.

Exploring and defeating the boss will reward you with the Cryptwatch Fort Explorer achievement.
Inside Cryptwatch Fort
Cryptwatch Fort is an old abandoned fort now occupied by Red Rook Bandits.
Valanwe
Valanwe is a High Elf and the leader of the Red Rook Bandits. She is accompanied by 2 underlings. Valanwe summons an Aura of Protection Totem. All three are easily defeated.
Completing Fortune In Failure
After finding the note you will need to travel to the Lion Guard Redoubt. You can use the Lion Guard Wayshrine to fast travel to the encampment. Once there, you will speak to Healer Alezan and give him the information and recipes. In addition to gold, you will also earn the Lion Guard Battle Staff which is not a set piece item.
Ebon Crypt
The Ebon Crypt was once used by the noble Gautiers of Camlorn as their family mausoleum, until Thrandyke the Repugnant adopted it as a laboratory for his vile necromantic experiments.
Ebon Crypt Location
Travel north from the Lion Guard Redoubt Wayshrine to find Ebon Crypt. This delve is located in northwestern Glenumbra.

Exploring and defeating the boss will reward you with the Ebon Crypt Explorer achievement.
Inside Ebon Crypt
Ebon Crypt is a tomb inhabited by Bloodthorn Cultists. While there is no specific quest for this delve there is still much to explore.
This delve has one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.
The Ebon Lord
The Ebon Lord is a large bone colossus summoned by Sharrin Thorncastle. The Ebon Lord has heavy swipes and creates a cone aoe that deals heavy physical damage. Focus on the colossus first but both enemies are easily defeated.
Enduum
The halls of lost Enduum are given a wide berth by the local Bretons, who claim that its corridors and chambers are haunted by ghosts of the ancient Ayleids who built them back in the Dawn Era.
Enduum Location
Enduum is located on the western shore of Glenumbra. You can travel west from the Eagle’s Brook Wayshrine or north from the Farwatch Wayshrine to located Enduum.

Exploring and defeating the boss will reward you with the Enduum Explorer achievement.
Inside Enduum
Enduum is an Ayleid ruin inhabited by Bone Flayers and Skeletal Warriors. While this delve has no specific quest, there is still much to explore.
Enduum has one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.
Odilion
Odilion is a ghost. He has heavy swipes and summons another spirit that charges you. Odilion is easily defeated.
Ilessan Tower
This long abandoned, crumbling tower appears to be an old outwork of the Daggerfall defenses.

Travel west from the Baelbone Rock Wayshrine to located Illesan Tower.

Exploring and defeating the boss will reward you with the Illessan Tower Explorer achievement.
Inside Ilessan Tower
Ilessan Tower is a ruin containing Red Rook Bandits. While there is no specific quest for this delve, there is still much to explore.
This delve has one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.
Gaetane
Gaetane is a Breton Storm Mage and the leader of the Red Rook Bandits found at Ilessan Tower. She attacks with a staff and creates aoes that have a swirling wind in them. Gaetane is easily defeated.
Mines of Khuras
These extensive mines, once famous as a source of crystals and gems, were abandoned after a ceiling collapse in 1E 2906 rendered most of the tunnels inaccessible.
Mine of Khuras Location
Travel east from the Aldcroft Wayshrine or south from the Hag Fen Wayshrine to locate Mine of Khuras along the eastern shore of Glenumbra.

Exploring and defeating the boss will reward you with the Mines of Khuras Explorer achievement.
Inside Mine of Khuras
The Mine of Khuras is inhabited by Bloodthorn Cultists who enslaved local peasants and forced them to mine.
Lilou
Lilou is a Reachman healer accompanied by a Bloodthorn Incendiary. She uses an inferno staff and creates flaming aoes. Avoid the aoes when possible. This duo is easily defeated.
Silumm
The ruins of Silumm are the westernmost known Ayleid settlement in Tamriel. Abandoned early in the First Era, Silumm was occupied again during the brief height of the Direnni Hegemony, before being left once more to the erosion of time.
Silumm Location
Travel north from the Daggerfall Wayshrine to locate the Ayleid ruin of Silumm.

Exploring and defeating the boss will reward you with the Silumm Explorer achievement.
Inside Silumm
Silumm is inhabited by Dominion soldiers and werewolves. While there is no specific quest for this delve, there is still much to explore.
This delve contains one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.
Sincano
Sincano is a High Elf Thundermaul. He uses a hammer and has heavy melee attacks. He is accompanied by a member of the Dominion Infantry. Both are easily defeated.
What Is A Public Dungeon?
Public dungeons are a type of dungeon that is non-instanced. This means that it can be accessed by anyone at any time. These dungeons are more difficult than delves. Public Dungeons contain at least one skyshard and often a group challenge that rewards a skill point. Each public dungeon also offers its own quests and achievements.

On your map, public dungeons appear with a blackened cave. Once the public dungeon is completed (by defeating the bosses/mini-bosses and all associated quests), the public dungeon icon turns white.

Bad Man’s Hallows
In the secluded grove known as Bad Man’s Hallows, local villagers have gathered for a festival to placate the Bad Man, the ancient Breton god of crop failure. According to tradition, appeasing the Bad Man will ensure good fortune and a bountiful harvest.
Bad Man’s Hallows Location
Travel southwest from the Daggerfall Wayshrine to located Bad Man’s Hallows. It is a cave in southwestern Glenumbra.
Bad Man’s Hallows Quests
There are two quests in Bad Man’s Hallows.
Season of Harvest
As you enter the cave of Bad Man’s Hallows, you’ll see a celebration honoring the Bad Man, an ancient harvest god. After speaking with Curator Nicholas, you will need to gather items of grains and fruits for the ritual offering. During the ritual, you will be dropped into an underground cavern of tunnels. You will find Eveline Vette trapped in vines and you help to free her.
Completing Season of Harvest
After freeing Eveline Vette and collecting glands from dead Shalk, you will take a portal back to the ritual alter and speak again with Curator Nicholas. You must then defeat the Bad Man.
Once the Bad Man is defeated, you will complete the quest with Eveline Vette and be rewarded with gold.
Can’t Take It With Them
In the tunnels of Bad Man’s Hallows, you will encounter Finvir. He explains the mages summoned a Dremora Lord who is posing as the Bad Man. He asks that you help locate five ceremonial gems.
Completing Can’t Take It With Them
After collecting the gems and returning to Finvir, he rewards you with Finvir’s Trinket, a now obsolete museum piece item.
Dungeon Bosses
Bad Man’s Hallows has 5 bosses. To complete the dungeon, you will need to complete the quest and defeat all 5 bosses.

Achievements

Defeating the Giant Snake Mother will reward you with the Bad Man’s Hallows Group Event achievement.

Defeating three of the champions in Bad Man’s Hallows will reward you with the Bad Man’s Hallows Vanquisher achievement.

Defeating all the champions in Bad Man’s Hallows will reward you with the Bad Man’s Hallows Conquerer achievement.
What Is A Group Dungeon?
Group Dungeons are designed to be four-player areas. Dungeons in ESO feature large groups of enemies that are tougher to defeat and have multiple bosses. These bosses pose unique challenges and often feature special mechanics that require teamwork. Each dungeon has a quest with a skill point rewarded for its completion. Dungeons also offer special gear sets that cannot be found in the overland areas of Tamriel. Dungeons can be completed in normal mode, veteran mode, or veteran hardmode. Dungeons completed in any of the veteran modes will reward you with a Monster Helm – a unique piece of armor for the head. On your map, dungeons appear with a blackened square-shaped icon with a plus sign. Once the dungeon is completed (by defeating the bosses), the dungeon icon turns white.

What Is A World Boss?
World bosses are powerful enemies often with their own unique abilities. They sometimes require groups of players to overcome. World bosses in DLC zones are significantly harder than other base game bosses.

On your map, world bosses appear with a blackened skull and crossed swords icon. Once the world boss is defeated, the world boss icon turns white.

Grivier Bloodcaller and Grivier’s’ Monstrosity at Balefire Island
Travel west from the Lion Guard Redoubt Wayshrine to a small island.
Mechanics Notes
Grivier Bloodcaller is a Reachman necromancer. He is accompanied by the Grivier’s Monstrosity which is a large bone colossus. Grivier Bloodcaller also summons Bloodfiends and Risen Dead to aid in battle. Grivier Bloodcaller will also channel to the undead healing them. This can be interrupted. Grivier’s Monstrosity uses heavy swipes and stomps to cause a lot of damage. Avoid him as much as possible. Focus on Grivier Bloodcaller first to stop him from summoning undead.
Achievement Earned

The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Bloodcaller’s Ruin achievement.
Asard the Putrid at North Shore Point
Travel south from the Eagle’s Brook Wayshrine to find the small island of North Shore Point.
Mechanics Notes
Asard the Putrid is a Breton zombie. He attacks with swipes but his most powerful attack is vomit. As he wretches, he creates an aoe that does heavy damage and cause additional poison damage. Asard is accompanied by two other weaker zombies.
Achievement Earned

The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Asard’s Assassin achievement.
Graufang at Seaview Point
Travel north from the Farwatch Washrine along the shore to find the Seaview Point cave along the beach.
Mechanics Notes
Inside the cave you’ll find Graufang, a sleeping bear. He has heavy swipes and also rears up and slams the ground causing a large aoe. Avoid the aoes when possible. Ranged attacks work well.
Achievement Earned

The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Graufang Hunter achievement.
Salazar the Wolf, Lieutenant Bran, and Annyce at The Wolf’s Camp
Travel northeast from the Aldcroft Wayshrine to locate The Wolf’s Camp.
Mechanics Notes
As you encounter this trio, you will find them in their Breton form. Shortly after the battle begins, all three transform into werewolves. As werewolves, each has heavy swipes, and can easily knock you off your feet. They also can howl which can fear you into place. Avoid the aoes as much as possible. Focus on one werewolf at a time.
Achievement Earned

The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Werewolf’s Bane achievement.
Trapjaw at Trapjaw’s Cove
Travel slightly southeast from the Burial Tombs Wayshrine to the shore to find Trapjaw’s Cove.
Mechanics Notes
Trapjaw is a large wamasu. He tail whips, stomps the ground creating electrical aoes, and charges in a path aoe. Avoid his aoes when possible. Ranged attacks work well.
Achievement Earned

The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Trapjaw Stalker achievement.
Limbscather at Western Overlook
Travel slightly northeast from the Western Overlook Wayshrine to locate Western Overlook.
Mechanics Notes
Limbscather is a large lurcher. He has heavy hits and stomps that can stagger you. Avoid the aoes as much as possible. Ranged attacks work well.

The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Limbscather Slayer achievement.
What Is A Wayshrine?
Wayshrines are shrines that were built to honor the Divines by being a safe haven point where players can revive if you die while adventuring in Tamriel. Once you visit a wayshrine, it becomes available on your map for you to use to fast travel at no cost. You can also travel to any unlocked wayshrine from anywhere in Tamriel for a price paid in gold. This price reduces with time and also can be reduced by champion point allocations. Each zone begins with one available wayshrine.

On your map, wayshrines will appear with a blackened wayshrine icon when you are close to its location. Once the wayshrine has been visited, the icon turns white.

What Is A Mundus Stone?
Mundus Stones are large, stone pillars that can be activated which creates a unique permanent player buff. Each player can choose any Mundus Stone but only one Mundus ‘blessing’ (also known as ‘boon’) is permitted at a time. For more information, check out this article.

On your map, mundus stones will appear in your compass as you near it with a blackened icon. Once visited, regardless if you used it, it will turn white and appear on your map permanently.
What Is A Skyshard?
Skyshards are glowing crystals that provide you with 1/3 of a skill point. Collecting 3 skyshards grants you 1 skill point which can then be used for abilities and/or passives.

On your map, skyshard will appear with a blackened skyshard icon when you are close to its location. Once the skyshard has been collected, the icon turns white but then disappears from your map.

Once you collect all the skyshard from the zone, you will earn the Glenumbra Skyshard Hunter achievement.

Skyshard #1 – between a rock and a tree
Skyshard #2 – in front of the statue
Skyshard #3 – on top of a rocky hill
Skyshard #4 – above the tomb
Skyshard #5 – at the top of the hill
Skyshard #6 – next to the bridge
Skyshard #7 – between the gravestones
Skyshard #8 – between three large rocks
Skyshard #9 – on top of the scaffolding
One skyshard is also found in each of the delves and one in the public dungeon. Maps with exact locations are provided in those sections.
What Is A World Event?
World Events, also commonly called Dark Anchors or Dolmens, are huge hooks sent by Molag Bal. They hook into the ground with giant chains. Dark Anchors spawn daedric and undead guardians. As you defeat the enemies, anchor pinions will appear around the dolmen and need to be released. After all the pinions are released, a final wave of enemies (usually featuring a few smaller enemies and one larger mini-boss) appear. Once the final wave is defeated one final anchor pinion will appear and releasing it will cause a treasure chest to appear. This chest contains gold and other loot but also contains a jewelry piece from the area.

On your map, world events will appear with a blackened world event icon when you are close to its location. Once the event has been defeated, the icon turns white.

On your map, when a world event is active, the crossed swords icon will appear and flash behind the world event icon.
What Is A Lore Book?
Shalidor’s Library is a collection of lore books in Tamriel. Reading lore books within this collection increases your Mages Guild rank.

On your map, lore books will appear in your compass as you near it. Once collected, it will disappear. You can track your collection under the zone guide.

What Is A Survey Map?
Survey Maps (also called Survey Reports) are maps to a collection of six high-yield harvest nodes that only exist if you have the corresponding survey. Some maps can be sold, some are character bound, and others only allow you to maintain one in your inventory. If you have multiples of the same map, the nodes do respawn but you must go a short distance away for it to do so. If you go away and the nodes do not respawn, then you haven’t traveled far enough.
Survey Map locations do NOT appear on your map. You can slot the maps for quick access to compare your location. The following icons will be used to denote the type of survey on this map.

What Is A Treasure Map?
Treasure Maps are rewards that show the location of special chests that can only be seen when you have the map in your inventory. You must travel to the specific location, dig the dirt mound, and then a chest will appear for you.
Treasure Map locations do NOT appear on your map. You can slot the maps for quick access to compare your location.

This map uses the chest icon to denote the location.

Tales of Tribute Clues
You will be randomly rewarded with clues as you play Tales of Tribute matches. These clues, when used, will upgrade a Tales of Tribute card. You can earn clues for decks you do not yet have. To ‘use’ a clue, you will need to find its location and open the Tribute Treasure Box.

Murder of Crows Clue
This clue will upgrade a card in the Duke of Crows Deck.
This Tribute Treasure Box is located in Glenumbra.
Travel south of the North Hag Fen Wayshrine. You will find the box at the base of an uprooted tree.
Glenumbra Summary
In addition to the main quest line, Glenumbra also offers many side quests, acquire zone-specific armor sets, visit points of interest, and striking locales.
Glenumbra is a peninsula region that separates Iliac Bay from the Eltheric Ocean. Its geography has both woodlands and swamps. The coastal city of Daggerfall serves as Glenumbra’s largest city and is home to the Daggerfall Covenant.
