Wood Elves As An ESO Race Option

Wood Elves, also known as Bosmer,  are part of the Aldmeri Dominion faction in The Elder Scrolls Online.  This faction was created by a pack between the High Elf, Wood Elf, and Khajiit races.  The symbol of the faction is an eagle.  The colors are yellow and silver.  This faction was created by a pack between the High Elf, Wood Elf, and Khajiit races.

Lore says that the Dominion seeks to reestablish Elven dominance over Tamriel in order to protect it from the carelessness of the younger races.  Players selecting this faction will begin in Khenarthi’s Roost after their escape from Coldharbour.

Historial Background Of The Wood Elves

The Wood Elves inhabit the nearly impenetrable forest of Valenwood located in the south-western area of Tamriel.  They are considered supreme hunters, and masters of sneaking and thievery.  Wood Elves are considered to be the most gifted archers in all of Tamriel.

Lore tells us that Bosmer are experts at the art of defense while mischievous, curious, and nimble.  This race rejected the high culture of the Aldmeri for a more simple life living in harmony with the land and it’s wild creatures.  Like the High Elves, the Wood Elves live 2 – 3 times longer than a human.

It is said from living with the land instead of on it, the Wood Elves have developed increased resistance to diseases and poisons.  Because of their incredible agility, they have naturally developed an ability to move ‘unseen’.
