ESO Race: Redguard
Learn about the Redguard race in The Elder Scrolls Online. Each ESO race comes with its own unique passives. What do Redguards offer?
Redguards As An ESO Race Option
Redguards are part of the Daggerfall Covenant faction in The Elder Scrolls Online. This faction was created by a pack between the people of northwestern Tamriel which includes Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs. The symbol of the Daggerfall Covenant is a lion. The colors of the Covenant are blue and silver.
Lore says that the areas of High Rock, the Kingdom of Orsinium, and the Kingdom of Sentinel developed this alliance to use its military for securing lucrative trade routes. Players selecting this faction will begin in Stros M’Kai after their escape from Coldharbour.
Historial Background Of The Redguards
Originating in Hammerfell, their ancestors were desert dwellers who migrated to Tamriel from the lost continent of Yokuda. Their capital is the port of Sentinel, but they have deep roots in the sands of the Alik’s Desert.
The Redguards are a hardy race with dark skin and wiry hair accustomed to enduring harsh environments. They prioritize honor and dignity above all else. Redguards also strive to preserve ancient traditions.
Lore tells us that Redguards are athletic warriors who are masters of melee combat. They are known to avoid magic and prefer to settle their differences with blades of steel. The Redguards are also known to avoid magic. They have a hardy constitution, resistance to poison, and quickness of foot.
