ESO Race: Nord
Learn about the Nord race in The Elder Scrolls Online. Each ESO race comes with its own unique passives. What do Nords offer?
Nords As An ESO Race Option
Nords are part of the Ebonheart Pact faction in The Elder Scrolls Online. This faction was created by a pack between the Nords, Dark Elf, and Argonian races. The symbol Ebonheart Pact is a dragon. The colors of the Pact are red and black.
Lore says that despite the three races hate for each other, the alliance was formed by necessity as they recognized the threat from unified enemies. Players selecting this faction will begin in Bleakrock Isle after their escape from Coldharbour.
Historial Background Of The Nords
The Nords who once conquered most of Tamriel, feel a certain entitlement to rule its lands. They are excellent with arms, quick to anger, boisterous, and strong. Nords are natural-born fighters and their ferociousness often terrifies their enemies.
Lore tells us that Nords are called the children of the sky. They are a tall race of light-haired humans who are known for their resistance to cold and magical frost. They strive to excel in all manner of warfare and expand their martial art skills beyond traditional methods.
Nords are fierce, strong, and enthusiastic warriors. The Nordic culture loves music and mead. Most Nords dress in animal skills or cotton clothing. Nords are also superstitious and hold a bitter resentment toward elves of all races. Most Nords prefer simplicity over worldliness and value honor and family.

Within the game, Nords are described as: The racial skills of the Nords reflect their strong and hardy natures, giving them bonuses to two-handed weapon use, duration of effects from drinks, physical, spell, and frost resistance, ultimate generation, as well as base health and stamina.
