ESO Race: High Elf
Learn about the High Elf race in The Elder Scrolls Online. Each ESO race comes with its own unique passives. What do High Elves offer?
High Elves As An ESO Race Option
High Elves are part of the Aldmeri Dominion faction in The Elder Scrolls Online. This faction was created by a pack between the High Elf, Wood Elf, and Khajiit races. The symbol of the faction is an eagle. The colors are yellow and silver.
Lore says that the Dominion seeks to reestablish Elven dominance over Tamriel in order to protect it from the carelessness of the younger races. Players selecting this faction will begin in Khenarthi’s Roost after their escape from Coldharbour.
Historial Background Of The High Elves
The High Elves are also known as Altmer. They arrived in Tamriel thousands of years ago. The High Elf race see themselves as the ruling race of Tamriel.
The High Elves are a highly cultured people who are known for breathtaking architecture and massive historical libraries. They do tend to inhabit the Summerset Isle, but do emerge if they perceive a threat to their homeland.
Lore tells us that Atlmer are tall and golden-skinned. They can be seen as snobby or proud. Because of their elven heritage, they live 2-3 times longer than humans.
High Elves are very gifted in the arcane arts and are naturally resistant to diseases. Because of this natural gift, they are considered the most intelligent and finest wizards. The High Elves are somewhat vulnerable to magicka, fire, frost, and shock.
