Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event Now Live Until March 1

Earn XP, AP, Loot, and More
Participate in ESO’s various PVP activities to enjoy HUGE bonuses to Alliance Points and Experience Points gains AND other unique rewards. The Whitestrake’s Mayhem in-game event began Thursday, February 17, at 10am EST and will run until Tuesday, March 1 at 10am EST. Throughout the event, harvesting nodes in Cyrodiil and Imperial City provide DOUBLE the regular resources.
Where To Begin?
Visit the in-game Crown store to acquire the ‘Details on the Whitestrake’s Mayhem’ quest. Visit either your Alliance War faction’s main gate in Cyrodiil using the Campaign menu OR any Battlegrounds camp which is located outside major cities in Tamriel.
Locate the NPC named Predicant Maera. After speaking with her, you will be required to use the Basin of the Gore Virtuous. This will grant you the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity and a Pelinal’s Boon Box.
Using the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity allows you to enjoy a 100% buff in the Alliance War, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds to BOTH Alliance Points gained and XP gained for PVP player kills. This scroll can be used throughout the entire event. Note: The Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity is an inventory item and not a Memento or Tool. So if you lose it, you can visit the Basin of the Gore Virtuous to activate its benefits.
Earn Pelinal’s Boon Boxes
Event-exclusive Pelinal’s Boon Boxes will be awarded in Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City. These special boxes are in addition to the regular Rewards for the Worthy containers and regular PVP daily quest rewards. You can earn them by completing these activities:
- Battleground quests from Battlemaster Rivyn
- Scouting, Battle, Warfront, and Conquest Missions
- Elder Scroll capture and recapture quests
- Town quests in Vlastarus, Bruma, Cropsford, Cheydinhal, and Chorrol
- Imperial City daily quests
With each Pelinal’s Boon Box, you have a chance to receive the following items:
- Parcel of Tel Var Stones
- Cyrodiil Repair Kit
- Soul Gems
- Alchemy Ingredients
- An item for your Alliance’s armor style
- An item for Akaviri armor style
- A Coldharbour siege weapon
- A Whitestrake’s Mayhem book furnishing
- A Forward Camp for your Alliance
- A Chapter of your Alliance’s armor motif (or possibly even the full book!)
- A Prismatic Runestone
- A Chapter for the Akaviri armor motif (or possibly even the full book!)
- A Transmute Geode
- Container with two tradeable runeboxes for Black Drake body and face markings.
You can also earn the new Black Drake Clanwrap Style pages which can be dropped by Imperial City sweepers and bosses OR purchased with Event Tickets from your favorite Impressario. Legion Zero Vigiles Outfit style pages can also be found on the corpses of bosses and sweepers in side Imperial City.
Whitestrake’s Mayhem Achievements
When you complete the following Whitestrake’s Mayhem Achievements, you will earn the Mayhem Victor’s Laurel Wreath collectible. Those achievements are:
- Mayhem Connoisseur: Receive the blessing of the Whitestrake at one of the Alliance Gates during the Midyear Mayhem.

- Pelinavant the Scourge: Win a Battleground match during the Whitestrake Mayhem.

Imperial City DLC game pack is FREE
You can pick up the Imperial City DLC game pack for FREE by visiting the in-game crown store.
Lots Of Jewelry From The Golden Vendor
Our favorite Golden Vendor (you can learn more about her in this article) will be updating her stock to include legendary-quality Alliance War jewelry. Necklaces will be for sale during the first weekend starting February 18th, and rings will be for sale during the second event weekend starting February 25th.
Earn Up To 39 Event Tickets
This is an Event Ticket event! You can earn up to THREE Event Tickets per day by completing TWO different PVP activities:
Two Event Tickets can be earned from the first Cyrodiil or Battleground repeatable quest you do each day. These include Bounty Board quests, a Town Daily quest, the Conquest Board quests, or the daily Battleground quest.
One Event Ticket can be earned from completing a District daily quest from Imperial City.
Remember that you can only carry a total of TWELVE (12) Event Tickets. If you earn more than you can carry, they are simply lost.
Spending Event Tickets
Visit an Impresario to use those hard-earned event tickets. You can purchase style pages for the Black Drake Clanwrap Outfit, Black Drake Body Markings, Black Drake Face markings, and Fragments.
Fragments are combined to make a morphing pet. This year’s pet is the Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet. To create it, you’ll need to purchase 3 Fragments for 5 Event Tickets each. Don’t worry – the Impresario will not sell you a Fragment you already own! Once you have the three required fragments, you can use them to create the Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet.
This pet, while awesome, can later be morphed with other Fragments into other items. The Scales of Akatosh Skin now has two Fragments available for purchase. In previous events, Fragments are only available for a limited time. So if you are wanting the Skin, please make those purchases FIRST. The Skin Fragments cost 10 Event Tickets each. Right now only TWO of those Fragments are available. At all this year’s events that offer Event Tickets, the Fragments for the Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet will be available.
Other items can also be purchased with Event Tickets including Group Repair Kits and a Bag of Veteran’s Glory. This ‘bag’ will contain a collectible that you don’t currently own from previous years’ Mayhem events.
While it hasn’t been announced yet what the ‘major’ reward will be for Event Ticket Fragment morphing this year, we can be sure it will be a must-have!
