The Deadlands & Patch 32

Coming soon in the Q4 of 2021 is the much anticipated Patch 32 and The Deadlands DLC.  This release will be available for all platforms.  In addition to an exciting new storyline, new worlds to explore, and bonus quests, this patch will provide new features and fixes.

More Than 3 Years Ago

If you have followed me long enough you know for the last 3 years at least I have predicted on streams and in other people’s podcasts that the consolidation of stats and the hybridization choices were potentially coming to The Elder Scrolls Online.  It is finally coming together at last!

The only thing you need to really consider about any set in the game (apart from whether you want to use it) is armor weight passives!  Anything goes!

The Armory Feature Added

Swapping a character’s build would take time and often require you to respec shrines and scrolls at a cost.  PC players have long had add-ons like Dressing Room or Alpha Gear.  But for console players, it simply was not possible.  Using the Armory, you can switch not only your character’s gear but also Attributes, Abilities, and Champion Point allocations.

Curated Item Set Drops

Have you farmed for a piece of gear and received every piece EXCEPT the one you wanted?  This change will help you.  ESO has made changes to how item set drops work.  The system will try to provide you with the set pieces that you don’t already have in your collection.  This doesn’t mean you’ll get ONLY those pieces you don’t already have, it means that your chances of getting a piece you don’t already have is greatly improved.

What Is Now Known

In this recent video, I went through the exciting Patch Notes sharing my thoughts and opinions on the updates mentioned here and more!

If you’d like to read the patch notes yourself, you can find them on The Elder Scrolls Online forum.  You can also find more about the ending of the Battle For Oblivion in this ESO News post.
