Update 43 FAQs

Update 43 will be brining exicitng base game changes to ESO including Home Tours, Fire & Ice arenas in the Infinite Archive, and more!

Home Tours

Coming soon to an Activity Finder near you is the new Home Tours.  This amazing new feature will be part of the upcoming Update 43 for The Elder Scrolls Online.  U43 is currently in PTS so the information we are sharing MAY be updated and/or change.  You can view the current PTS notes here.

Home Tours allows you to view recommendations, mark favorites, and explore an ever-evolving list of home available for touring.  You can search by homeowners, categories, or even specific houses.

Two New Homes

Two new homes are scheduled to be released with U43.  Seabloom Villa is located in Auridon’s western coast and the Haven of the Five Companions is located in West Weald.

Seabloom Villa is a medium home and Haven of the Five Companions is a large home.  Please note that you acquire the Haven of the Five Companions by collecting fragments.

Other New Goodies

In addition to the new houses, there will also be new furnishing, new Master Writs, an Apocrypha Jewelry Crafting Station, and a Scribing Altar.  The Scribing Altar is purchasable by either Master Writs, Alliance Point, Archival Fortunes, or Crowns.

Update to the Infinite Archive

Update 43 will also bring exciting new additions to the Infinite Archive!

  • 2 newly themed arenas 
    • Fire
    • Ice
  • 10 new bosses from Tamriel
  • 8 new Verses
  • 10 new Visions
  • 2 new Marauders 
    • Bittog the behemoth werewolf
    • Zulfimbul the minotaur
  • new fabled monsters
  • a new daily quest giver named Esalinwe

New Class Item Sets

All these sets are available in light, medium, or heavy.

Item Curation

There will be a few changes to Item Curation.  Undaunted shoulder coffers will be curated with a new cost of 8 Undaunted Keys.  This does NOT include the less expensive mystery coffer.

Imperial city monster sets will now be curated.

Weekly trial reward coffers will now be curated.

More Changes

As PTS continues we will learn more about all the goodies packed into Update 43.  Update 43 is scheduled for release on August 19, 2024.
