“At the Gorne estate, we make a concerted effort to ensure the comfort, support, and fitness of the patients in our custody. Our understanding of a spellcaster’s unique needs makes us the perfect place to care for your loved ones.” — From the tract, Planning for the Future
Gorne is located in the Telvanni Penninsula. Travel northwest from the Great Arm Wayshrine to locate this public dungeon along the shoreline. Using a boat is required.
There is 1 quest in Gorne public dungeon.
A Dark Elf by the name of Garalo Givyn wants to find the research of a reclusive portal mage. He asked me to accompany him to the nearby island of Gorne.
Dreynis agreed to share his research, if we can find it. He said his notes are scattered about the island, but he enchanted them to glow so he wouldn’t lose them. I should look around.
Completing this quest will also reward you with the Prism of Moribund Sapience memento.
Gorne is a large plantation occupied by golden saints, daedra, scamps, and banekins. This dungeon has five bosses, one skyshard, and one quest.
Gorne has 6 bosses. To complete the dungeon, you will need to complete the quest and defeat all 6 bosses.

Keeag is a large harvester surrounded by Dark Seducers.
Keeag summons golden saints and dark seducers to aid him in battle. Occasionally he will disappear and then split into volatile shells. The volatile shells are easy enough to kill but will set the entire area’s floor on fire! You must find a rock protrusion that you can stand on safely. Keep the adds down, especially the volatile shells and Keeag is easy to defeat.
Solemn is a dual wield boss accompanied by several Gorne Wolves.
Solemn jumps around the room throwing daggers for ranged attacks. He also produces tons of small aoes on the ground that quickly fill up the fighting area. Stay quick on your feet and avoid the aoes when possible. Solemn is easily defeated.
Straath can only be accessed from a portal in the rotunda and is the group event boss for this public dungeon.
Straath is the boss for this dungeon’s group event. He uses a lightning staff for electrical attacks creating many aoes around the room. He also opens a portal called an ‘arch’ which spawn static sheep. Focus on the arch. Once destroyed, the adds no longer come. Avoid the aoes when possible.
Staxuira is a large winged twilight.
Staxuira uses wing swipes for heavy-hitting melee attacks. He also jumps and ground pounds creating large aoes. Staxuira summons smaller winged twilight to aid him in battle. His most damaging attack is a beam! He zeros in on your and follows you for several seconds. Avoid the aoes when possible. Keep the adds down. Ranged attacks work well.
Stupulag is a large Ogrim and Gujelag is a dragonknight warrior.
Gujelag and his orgrim Stupulag create a ton aoes on the ground. Both breath fire and Stupulag also ground pounds creating additional fiery aoes. Gujelag is perhaps the most dangerous because he has a rotating aoe when he holds his sword in the area that is deadly. Further, Gujelag uses chains to pull you directly into the damage! He can sometimes be interrupted. Forus on Gujelag first. Avoid the aoes when possible.
Zygiite is a larger hunger. Gorne’s single skyshard can be found nearest to this location as marked on the map.
During battle Zygiite disappears while summoning many smaller hungers. He has heavy hitting swipes, and jumps around the room where he can land on you dealing heavy damage. Zygiite also latches onto you with this tongue feeding off your health until you can break free. He also spits poison and creates numerous aoes on the ground. Avoid the aoes when possible Ranged attacks work well against Zygiite and melee attacks work best against the smaller hunger adds.
Defeating all the champions in Gorne will reward you with the Gorne Conquerer achievement.
Defeating Straath will reward you with the Gorne Group Event achievement.
