Dread Cellar DLC Dungeon Waking Flame DLC
Located in Blackwood, the Dread Cellar is a group dungeon introduced with the Waking Flame DLC.
According to local lore, this dungeon once served as a prison controlled by the Imperial Battlemages. They later abandoned this area following the collapse of the Empire. Most recently, it has been occupied by the Order of the Waking Flame and their Daedric allies known as the Crimson Oath.
The Order of the Waking Flame is a cult dedicated to the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon. Daedra loyalists who provide Dagon protection are known as the Crimson Oath. The Order of the Waking Flame is distrusting of the Crimson Oath who boast to be Dagon’s most trusted allies. The Crimson Oath group considers the Waking Flame cultists as foolish mortals but are jealous that Dagon entrusted them to build the Antecedent Catalyst in the Dread Cellar. On the other hand, the cultists believe the Crimson Oath group are nothing more than brutal killers who desire to maraud across Tamriel.
New Armor Sets Acquired In Dread Cellar
There are 3 armor sets that can be acquired in the Dread Cellar dungeon and 1 monster set. They are the light armor set of Scorion’s Feast, the medium armor set of Rush of Agony, the heavy armor set of Crimson Oath’s Rive, and the monster set Magma Incarnate.
As with all other dungeons, monster helms can only be acquired by completing the veteran version, and shoulder pieces can be found at the Undaunted Enclave by purchasing coffers from the NPCs that give Undaunted Pledges. The cost of each coffer is paid with Undaunted keys earned by completing Undaunted Pledges. Two dungeons combine for one coffer and your purchase may or may not be the shoulder set you need. Additionally, traits and weights may also vary.
