The Forgotten One – Wayrest Sewers II Boss

Overview

The Forgotten One is encountered in Wayrest Sewers II . This is a straightforward encounter, but the boss's Fear mechanic can cause problems if the group is poorly positioned.

The tank should keep the boss in the middle of the room and stack the additional enemies close by so the group can damage everything together. DPS and healers should remain behind the boss whenever possible.

Mechanics

Fear – The Forgotten One will perform a directional Fear attack during the encounter. Players caught by the attack will be feared and lose control of their character until they break free.

The tank should keep the boss facing away from the rest of the group so the Fear is directed into a safe area. DPS and healers should remain behind the boss to avoid being caught by it.

If you are caught by the Fear, break free as quickly as possible and return to position. Remaining close together and keeping the additional enemies stacked around the boss allows the group to deal with the encounter efficiently without spreading enemies around the room.

Tips & Strategy

• Tank: Hold The Forgotten One in the middle of the room, face the boss away from the group and stack the additional enemies nearby.
• DPS: Stay behind the boss and damage the additional enemies together with The Forgotten One.
• Healer: Stay behind the boss where possible and keep the group supported if players are caught by Fear.
• Everyone: Avoid the directional Fear and break free immediately if you are caught by it.
