Skull Reaper – Wayrest Sewers II Boss

Overview

Skull Reaper is encountered in Wayrest Sewers II . This is an optional boss encounter and can be skipped if the group does not wish to fight it.

The tank should keep Skull Reaper facing away from the group while the DPS and healer remain behind the boss. Skeletons will join the fight and should be controlled and killed alongside the boss.

Mechanics

Skeletons – Skeletons will spawn throughout the encounter and attack the group. The tank should try to control them and keep them close to Skull Reaper so they can be killed with area damage while the group continues attacking the boss.

Cone Attack – Skull Reaper has a large frontal cone attack. The tank should keep the boss facing away from the rest of the group so the attack is directed into a safe area.

DPS and healers should remain behind the boss and avoid standing inside the cone. If Skull Reaper changes position, allow the tank to reposition the boss before moving back behind it.

Tips & Strategy

• Tank: Keep Skull Reaper facing away from the group and control the skeletons close to the boss.
• DPS: Stay behind Skull Reaper, avoid the frontal cone and kill the skeletons with area damage.
• Healer: Remain behind the boss where possible and keep the group supported while the skeletons are being controlled.
• Everyone: Stay away from Skull Reaper's frontal cone and keep the additional skeletons grouped rather than spreading them around the room.
