Garron the Returned – Wayrest Sewers II Boss
Overview
Garron the Returned is encountered in Wayrest Sewers II . This encounter requires the group to manage dangerous ground AOEs while reacting quickly to Garron's additional mechanics.
The group should remain aware of their positioning throughout the fight. When Garron teleports, players need to locate him quickly and deal with the mechanics that follow rather than remaining spread around the room.
Mechanics
Ground AOE – Garron will place dangerous AOEs on the ground during the encounter. Watch your positioning and move out of these areas rather than remaining inside them and taking unnecessary damage.
Lich Crystal / Ghosts – During the fight, Garron will summon a Lich Crystal and ghosts into the room. The group needs to deal with these additional threats while continuing to manage the boss and the AOEs around the arena.
Teleport and Leech – Garron will teleport during the encounter and begin his Leech mechanic. The group must react quickly when he changes position and locate him rather than continuing to fight from the previous position.
Stay alert when Garron teleports and be prepared to reposition immediately. Managing the teleport correctly prevents the group from becoming separated while the other mechanics are active.
Tips & Strategy
- Tank: Keep Garron controlled and be ready to reposition whenever he teleports.
- DPS: Avoid the ground AOEs, deal with the additional threats and locate Garron quickly after each teleport.
- Healer: Keep the group supported through the additional damage and reposition quickly when Garron moves.
- Everyone: Watch the ground, stay aware of Garron's position and react immediately when he teleports and begins his Leech mechanic.
