Praxin Douare – Spindleclutch II Boss

Overview
Praxin Douare is encountered in Spindleclutch II . Before Praxin can be killed, the group must fight through several waves of enemies previously encountered in Spindleclutch I. Praxin then transforms into a wraith and the main fight begins.
The tank should control each wave and focus on the main boss-type enemy while the group kills the enemies in each phase. Once the waves are finished, the tank should meet Praxin and turn him away from the group. Do not run around the room.
Mechanics
Phase 1: Spiders – A large wave of small spiders. They have low health and can be killed quickly with AOE damage. The tank should pin them in place.
Phase 2: Swarm Mother – The large spider boss from Spindleclutch I appears. The tank should taunt the Swarm Mother and hold aggro on the smaller spiders while the group kills the boss and burns the adds with AOE. The Swarm Mother can be repeatedly stunned.
Phase 3: Rabbu and Widowmaker – Both mini bosses appear together. The tank should grab both bosses quickly and keep them together. Chain in the healers as soon as possible or the fight can last long enough for the next phase to overlap. DPS should use as much AOE as possible and interrupt the healers. Save ultimates for the next phase.
Phase 4: The Whisperer – The main boss from Spindleclutch I appears. Kill her quickly and have the tank turn her away from the group. Ultimates can be used here. Praxin is about to transform, so if this phase is not completed quickly enough you will have to deal with both enemies at once.
Trident – Praxin periodically casts a forward-moving trident effect along the floor. If the tank has Praxin facing away from the group, this should only hit the tank. If it is aimed at the group, move into the gaps to avoid it. Failing to avoid it can result in a one-shot.
Drain – Praxin occasionally curses a member of the group and drains their resources. Use heavy attacks to recover resources.
Ring of Death – One player is periodically selected and surrounded by a pink ring that moves in a random direction. If you are inside the ring, move with it and do not touch the edges. If you are outside the ring, do not touch it. Inside stays in, outside stays out. Touching the ring results in a guaranteed one-shot.
Tips & Strategy
- Tank: Control each wave, keep the main enemies together, and turn Praxin away from the group once the main fight begins.
- DPS: Use AOE during the enemy waves, interrupt healers during Rabbu and Widowmaker, and kill The Whisperer quickly.
- Everyone: Do not run around the room. Avoid Triden through its gaps and follow the Ring of Death rule exactly. Inside stays in, outside stays out.
