Azara the Frightener – Elden Hollow II Boss
Overview
Azara the Frightener is encountered in Elden Hollow II . This fight is very straightforward so long as the group pays attention to the enemies around the boss and reacts quickly when a player is targeted.
The tank should taunt Azara and turn her away from the group while controlling the additional enemies around her. The rest of the group should stay behind the boss and remain close enough to quickly help each other when required.
Mechanics
Shadow Tormentor – Throughout the fight a Shadow Tormentor will appear and target one member of the group. The affected player will be pinned in place and unable to move or use abilities while the Tormentor remains active.
When this happens, the rest of the group must immediately focus the Shadow Tormentor and kill it to release the trapped player. Do NOT ignore it. The longer it remains alive, the longer that group member is completely removed from the fight.
Adds – Additional enemies are present around Azara and should be controlled rather than allowing them to spread around the room. The tank should pull them together with the boss where possible so they can be killed with AOE damage while the group continues attacking Azara.
Tips & Strategy
- Tank: Taunt Azara, face her away and control the additional enemies.
- DPS: Immediately focus any Shadow Tormentor that appears.
- Healer: Stay close to the group and watch for trapped players.
- Everyone: Free trapped group members as quickly as possible.
