Head Shepherd Neloren – Darkshade Caverns I Boss

Overview

Head Shepherd Neloren is encountered in Darkshade Caverns I . This is a relatively simple boss fight, but there are a couple of mechanics the group should pay attention to.

The tank should control the boss while the group stays aware of her attacks. Most importantly, watch for her healing ability and be ready to interrupt it.

Mechanics

Fireballs – Neloren will cast fireballs at members of the group. These can be avoided, so pay attention to where they are going and move out of the way.

Healing – Every so often Neloren will begin healing herself. This heal is extremely strong and can restore a large amount of her health if allowed to continue.

When she begins the heal, interrupt her as quickly as possible. If the group ignores this mechanic, she can repeatedly recover health and make the fight last considerably longer.

Tips & Strategy

• Tank: Keep Neloren controlled and positioned for the group.
• DPS: Watch for her healing ability and interrupt it quickly.
• Healer: Stay aware of incoming fireballs while supporting the group.
• Everyone: Do not allow Neloren to complete her heal.
