Mezeluth – Crypt of Hearts II Boss

Overview

Mezeluth is encountered in Crypt of Hearts II . This boss is very simple once the group understands the mechanics, but she can wipe the entire group extremely quickly if players do not pay attention to their positioning.

The tank should keep Mezeluth as central as possible and the group should spread out around her. Staying aware of where the other members of the group are standing is extremely important during this fight.

Mechanics

Heavy Attack – Mezeluth has a heavy attack which should be aimed at the tank. The tank must block this attack. If she turns towards another player and targets them instead, that player must block until the tank regains control.

Teleport – Mezeluth will teleport members of the group away from her and place them around the room. When this happens, pay close attention to where you land and where the other members of the group have been positioned.

Each player will have a large AOE around them after being teleported. These AOEs must NOT overlap with another player's AOE. If players are too close together and the circles overlap, the resulting damage can kill them.

Do not immediately run back towards Mezeluth or towards another member of the group. First make sure your AOE is safely separated from everybody else's and wait for the mechanic to finish.

Once the AOEs have disappeared, everyone can safely return to the boss and continue the fight.

AOE Placement – Positioning before the teleport is extremely important. The group should spread around Mezeluth rather than stacking together, giving each player enough room when they are moved away from the boss.

Keep Mezeluth in the middle of the room wherever possible. This gives the group much more space around the outside and makes it easier for everyone to avoid overlapping each other when the teleport mechanic occurs.

Tips & Strategy

• Tank: Keep Mezeluth as central as possible, maintain aggro and block her heavy attack.
• DPS: Spread around the boss and watch your position carefully whenever the group is teleported.
• Healer: Stay aware of the group's positions and leave enough space between yourself and the other players during the teleport.
• Everyone: Never overlap the large AOEs after being teleported. Stay where you have space, wait for the circles to disappear and then return to the boss.
