Ilambris Amalgam – Crypt of Hearts II Boss

Overview

Ilambris Amalgam is encountered in Crypt of Hearts II . This boss has a HUGE health pool but does very little mechanically.

The tank should keep the boss turned away from the group while everyone else stays behind it. The main things to watch for are its heavy attack and the ground AOE that appears during the fight.

Mechanics

Heavy Attack – The boss has a heavy attack which MUST be blocked by whoever has aggro. This should of course be the tank, but if it turns towards somebody else, that player needs to block until the tank regains control.

The tank should keep Ilambris Amalgam facing away from the group at all times so the DPS and healer are not unnecessarily exposed to attacks intended for the tank.

Ground AOE – During the fight, a large AOE will appear on the ground. This is extremely easy to see and should simply be avoided.

Do not stand inside the AOE and expect the healer to keep you alive. Move out of it and continue attacking the boss from a safe position.

Aside from these attacks, there is very little happening during this fight. Ilambris Amalgam simply has a very large amount of health, so maintain your positioning, keep the boss under control and continue dealing damage until it is defeated.

Tips & Strategy

• Tank: Maintain taunt, keep Ilambris Amalgam facing away from the group and block its heavy attack.
• DPS: Stay behind the boss, avoid the ground AOE and maintain damage throughout its large health pool.
• Healer: Stay behind the boss with the group and avoid standing inside the ground AOE.
• Everyone: Move out of the visible ground AOE and block the heavy attack if the boss turns towards you.
