Uulkar Bonehand – Crypt of Hearts I Boss

Overview

Uulkar Bonehand is encountered in Crypt of Hearts I . The tank should maintain taunt and keep the boss under control while the group pays attention to his Whirlwind and Heavy Attack mechanics.

This encounter is straightforward if the group reacts correctly. Do not run away from the boss unnecessarily. Avoid the Whirlwind when it happens and make sure the Heavy Attack is blocked.

Mechanics

Whirlwind – Uulkar Bonehand will spin his weapon around himself, creating an AOE attack in close range. Simply step out of the affected area when the attack begins and move back in once it has finished. There is no need to run across the room.

Heavy Attack – The boss will wind up a powerful Heavy Attack against whoever currently has aggro, which should normally be the tank. This attack must be blocked. React to the wind-up early and hold block before the attack connects rather than trying to run away from it.

Tips & Strategy

• Tank: Maintain taunt and block the Heavy Attack.
• DPS: Step out of Whirlwind when it begins.
• Healer: Avoid Whirlwind and stay with the group.
• Everyone: Do not run around the room. React to the mechanics and stay controlled.
