The Quiver Build – One Bar Bow Power in The Elder Scrolls Online
If you’ve spent any time searching the internet for one bar builds in The Elder Scrolls Online, you’ve probably seen countless variations of heavy attack setups – usually copy-pasted versions of the famous Easy Sorc//Lazxy Sorc with a few tweaks. Almost every guide will tell you that lightning staff heavy attacks are the only way to play a viable one bar build.
That couldn’t be further from the truth. One bar is a playstyle choice, not a limitation. You are not locked into specific weapons or skills, and while choosing what to keep and what to cut can be tough, the Quiver build proves that a different path exists. This setup is a full one bar bow build — yes, one bar, one bow — designed for simplicity, and consistent results. And the best part? It’s fully capable of tackling all PvE content in the game.
Accessibility
One Bow, One Bear, One Bar! The One bar playstyle makes this far easier to grasp and master in mechanics than a two bar setup. There are less moving parts which gives you far more time to focus on what is going on around you. It's easier to autopilot with one bar than it is with two, which proves to offer far more consistent results. Less room for error and less overlap with HALF the skills required. This also helps for people with mobility issues.
Treating the one bar playstyle like that of an Action RPG (like diablo) with only 5 skills and an ultimate, makes this far less daunting, and far more accessibly to those that struggle with pressing a million buttons at once. And you don't suffer in performance for the choices you have made! This is MORE than capable of all PVE content, and can perform just as well as a two bar setup in the right hands.
Why Quiver Stands Out
- No veteran difficulty is required for essential gear (non perfected is fine).
- Limited skills = less complication, more focus on fun.
- Light attacks fuel both set procs and weapon passives.
- Fast, agile gameplay makes positioning part of your survival.
- Critical damage potential is huge — hitting cap easily in groups.
- Sustainability is excellent thanks to passives, flexible resource use, and skill synergy.
- Viable for all PvE content including dungeons, trials, and arenas.
Quiver Build – Skills
The Quiver Build is now a true 100% Warden setup, making full use of Update 50's Class Mastery system. Combining powerful Animal Companion abilities with ranged bow damage, the build delivers reliable single-target damage, excellent area damage, and strong sustained performance while remaining simple to play and highly effective in all forms of content.

Class Mastery
Update 50 introduced the new Class Mastery system to The Elder Scrolls Online. If you choose to remain a pure Warden without subclassing, you gain access to five unique Class Mastery passives and can select two of them. These are the choices used for the Quiver build.
- Glacial Obstinance
- Wild Adaptation 🏆 Champion Points – Best Slotables for the Build
Once you reach level 50, Champion Points further enhance your character through three constellations. Each tree focuses on a different aspect of gameplay, allowing you to fine-tune survivability, sustain, damage mitigation, and quality-of-life improvements.
These trees are divided into Warfare (Blue), Craft (Green), and Fitness (Red). Slotable stars from each tree provide powerful passive bonuses once unlocked.

- Wrathful Strikes
- Master-at-Arms
- Thuamaturge
- Deadly Aim/Reaving Blows

Steed’s Blessing
The Craft tree is mostly passive — speed, QoL bonuses, and general utility.
Slot Steed’s Blessing for smoother movement.

- Boundless Vitality
- Bloody Renewal
- Fortified
- Siphoning Spells
As you gain additional Champion Points, you can expand beyond these slotables, but this setup provides a strong and flexible foundation.

Quiver Build Rotation
Quiver is extremely straightforward. Maintain your damage-over-time abilities correctly and fill every available gap with Lethal Arrow. The build rewards good uptime rather than complicated rotations.
- Winter's Revenge should be maintained at all times. Recast it immediately when it expires using a Light Attack → Winter's Revenge.
- Subterranean Assault must be allowed to complete its full cycle. Do not recast it early or you will interrupt the final hit. Once it finishes, use Light Attack → Subterranean Assault and let it run its course again.
- Fetcher Infection must be maintained permanently. At the start of combat, cast it twice to immediately activate the stronger overlapping version. After that, refresh it before it expires so the empowered version never falls off.
- Whenever none of the above skills need refreshing, simply spam Light Attack → Lethal Arrow.
- When your Wild Guardian ultimate is available, replace a Lethal Arrow with the bear activation.
💡 Opening Rotation
Light Attack → Subterranean Assault
Light Attack → Winter's Revenge
Light Attack → Fetcher Infection
Light Attack → Fetcher Infection
Then spam Light Attack → Lethal Arrow, refreshing other skills only when required.
💡 Sustain Tip
If you are struggling for resources, replace any Light Attack with a Heavy Attack. The build continues to function normally and you'll recover significantly more resources whenever enemies are Off Balance.
💡 TL;DR
Keep Winter's Revenge active → Let Subterranean Assault finish completely before recast → Keep Fetcher Infection overlapped at all times → Spam Light Attack + Lethal Arrow over and over if not refreshing another skill → Use the bear whenever ready.
