Build Overview
It really doesn’t get much simpler than this in The Elder Scrolls Online .
This build is designed to gently introduce players to two-bar gameplay and bar swapping, while keeping the experience as simple and as powerful as a one-bar build.
🎯 Two Bars, Minimal Effort
Only Beams uses one skill on the back bar and one skill on the front bar that need to be maintained. Both of these skills exist for one reason — to boost your main spammable.
And that spammable comes with a twist.
☀️ When Your Spammable Is an Execute
The skill you press all day long is actually your execute. Normally, this is the one ability you should avoid casting before an enemy reaches 33% health.
With this build, that rule changes.
Only Beams is carefully designed to boost the upfront damage of the Jesus Beam, giving it real power from the ground up while massively increasing its execute potential at low health.
💥 Front-Loaded Power, Massive Finish
The result is a beam that performs like a normal spammable on single targets at higher health, then ramps into extreme damage as enemies drop low.
We’re talking Jesus Beams exceeding 200k per tick at low health, with average DPS comparable to everyday spammables — all with minimal effort.
🧠 Learn Without Punishment
Thanks to the gear choices, this build is extremely accessible and removes almost all pressure around light attack weaving.
With a 99% reduction to light and heavy attack damage, missing a weave simply doesn’t matter. You can practice at your own pace without seeing any real loss in performance.

Only Beams is built around one idea: empowering Radiant Glory into a full-time damage tool instead of a situational execute. With minimal bar maintenance and heavy emphasis on class abilities, this setup delivers strong damage, excellent survivability, and extremely low mechanical complexity.

Class Mastery
Update 50 has given us a new system called Class Mastery in The Elder Scrolls Online. If you decide to remain 100% pure class, you gain access to five unique Class Mastery passives, but can only choose two. These are the two selected for this build.

Rotation For The Only Beams Templar Build!
This build is intentionally simple and exists to teach clean two-bar gameplay without complexity. Both bars are mostly passive, and your focus is maintaining two abilities while spamming a single skill.
Opening Setup
Start every fight on your back bar:
- Light Attack
- Elemental Blockade
- Bar Swap
Main Loop
Once on the front bar, repeat the following:
- Light Attack → Solar Barrage
- Light Attack → Radiant Glory (repeat)
Continue spamming Radiant Glory until Elemental Blockade is close to expiring. When it is, swap back, refresh it, then immediately return to the front bar.
Core Rule
Maintain Elemental Blockade and Solar Barrage at all times and spam Radiant Glory — from 100% health.
This build is designed so the upfront damage makes Radiant Glory a fully viable spammable. At execute, its damage becomes extreme.
Light attack before every skill. That’s it!

Champion Points for Only Beams focus entirely on direct damage scaling, execute strength, and reliable sustain to support constant beam uptime from 100% to execute.
Once you reach level 50, CP upgrades your performance across three constellations: Warfare (Blue), Craft (Green), and Fitness (Red). These support your build with damage, mitigation, recovery bonuses and much more!

Mundus, Attribute Points & Race Choice
✔️ We are using the Thief Mundus Stone.
✔️ All 64 Attribute Points are placed into Magicka.
✔️ The recommended race for this build is the High Elf .
Other viable options include Dark Elf, Khajiit, or Breton. As explained (and shown) in the video, the choice is entirely yours.
Potions, Poisons & Food
You can use Tri-stat potions if you are running with a Dragonknight with Molten Armaments, but if not you will need Spell Power Pots to cover the missing Major Sorcerery.
Food is very straightforward — use the highest-level food available that provides Max Health and Max Magicka only. There are three variations of recipes, but all provide identical stats, so use whichever is easiest to obtain.

Notes: War Maiden will give you consistent damage across almost all of your skills, with the exception of Wall of Elements.
Wrathsun can produce extremely high damage during very low-health execute phases, but it is incredibly difficult to time correctly. While it works, there is an unavoidable element of randomness involved.
Siroria provides solid, reliable performance at all times and delivers consistent results throughout a fight, BUT requires an element of skill to maintain the stacks. Spacial awareness is key!
If you can get into trials, grab Siroria. If not, War Maiden is the safest and most consistent option. If you enjoy rolling the dice, Wrathsun is a strong middle ground with some solid mid-set stats.
