Build Overview – The Vampire
The Vampire is a build that finally treats vampirism in The Elder Scrolls Online as more than a passive stat stick. Instead of dipping into the skill line for bonuses and pretending the rest doesn’t exist, this setup is built to actually play as a vampire.
Traditionally, Vampire and Werewolf are used very differently. Werewolf is an all-in transformation — you commit fully. Vampire, on the other hand, is usually taken for passives, with the skills ignored. This build flips that idea completely.
With the Greymoor rework introducing new active skills, revised passives, and a far more aggressive playstyle, Vampire finally became something you could build around properly — if you knew how to make it work.
Playing as the Vampire
Vampires traditionally relies on kills, feeding, and sustain through combat, but raw Health Recovery alone isn’t enough to carry a build. Instead, this setup focuses on cost reduction, ultimate generation, and healing through damage.
Exhilarating Drain does more than just heal — it feeds ultimate generation consistently, which makes building into the Scion transformation extremely reliable. Once you enter Scion, you’re effectively in god mode: massive stats, constant healing, and overwhelming pressure for the full duration.
With the right combination of sets, passives, and class skills, this build leans hard into the idea that the more you fight, the stronger you become. Abilities are cheaper, ultimates cost less, and combat itself refunds resources.
Why It Snowballs So Hard
Ultimate generation comes from everywhere: light and heavy attacks, killing blows, taking damage, Invigorating Drain, and passives stacked on top of each other. With everything working together, Scion can cost as little as 148 ultimate.
In real combat, especially in group fights or zergs, you can gain over 90 ultimate in a very short window. That means your Ultimate is used more often, pressure never stops, and survival stays high while AOE damage ramps up.
What the Build Actually Gives You
- ✔ AOE damage that heals you for every target hit
- ✔ Safe bomb potential without getting instantly deleted
- ✔ Reliable AOE stun and crowd control
- ✔ Extremely high ultimate generation during combat
- ✔ Strong solo play with lethal group pressure
- ✔ Constant healing through damage
- ✔ Mist Form mobility without stamina drain or panic rolls
- ✔ A proper Vampire playstyle — not just passive bonuses
The overall Playstyle
The playstyle is a little different to most. Generally speaking it is about maintaining buffs, and pressure to build Ultimate(while healing) in order to burst into your Ultimate form! During that time, it's KILL TIME! Solo this can be fun, slower than most burst dps builds, but capable. In a group however? These are DEVASTATING! A group of 4x Vampire builds like this, is a problem for ANY capable group.
The Vampire – Sorcerer Build Skills
The Vampire is a hybrid Sorcerer build built around vampiric pressure, burst damage, and strong self-sustain. The Lightning Staff front bar drives offense and crowd control, while the Restoration Staff back bar provides defensive layering and recovery.

Class Mastery
Update 50 has given us a new system called Class Mastery in The Elder Scrolls Online. If you decide to remain 100% pure class, you gain access to five unique Class Mastery passives, but can only choose two. These are the two selected for this build.

How To Play The Build
There is no strict rotation here. PvP is chaotic, and this build is designed to adapt, not follow a script.
Your priority is to manage resources, build ultimate pressure with Exhilarating Drain, and apply crowd control whenever an opening appears.
Once you have enough ultimate, commit with Swarming Scion and pin targets down with everything you have. The more enemies around you, the harder you are to kill while it’s active — but the window is short, so make it count.
Play smart. Look for kill moments, not reckless pushes. If the window isn’t there, stack shields, heal, evade, and reset until it is.

Mundus Stone, Attribute Points and Race
Below is the full stat guidance for The Vampire build, covering your Mundus Stone, attribute distribution, and recommended race choices. This setup is designed to maximise pressure, penetration, and Magicka efficiency, allowing you to capitalise on burst windows during your ultimate.
✔️ We are using the Lover Mundus Stone . This ensures we have plenty of penetration before buffs and debuffs are applied, allowing our damage to cut through enemy resistances and significantly increase overall pressure.
✔️ All 64 Attribute Points go into Magicka. This maximises skill scaling, sustain, and the effectiveness of your offensive and defensive abilities during both pressure phases and ultimate windows.
✔️ The recommended race for The Vampire is High Elf. High Elf provides excellent Magicka sustain, bonus spell damage, and strong recovery while casting — all of which synergise perfectly with this build’s playstyle.
Other races are also completely viable. Breton offers exceptional Magicka cost reduction and sustain, while Dark Elf provides balanced offensive bonuses and flexibility. Choose based on preference — the build remains effective across multiple race options.
Potions, Poisons, & Food
🧪 Immovable Potions
