FEED – ESO Nightblade Vampire Healer Build
FEED is one of the most unique healer builds you’ll find in The Elder Scrolls Online . This Nightblade Vampire healer is built to act as a true resource battery, feeding your group Health, Magicka, Stamina, and Ultimate regardless of content or group size.
The idea is simple. Instead of chasing recovery stats and spamming heals, this build focuses on fueling the group. Damage dealers stop worrying about sustain, ultimates come up faster than expected, and healing stays strong without fighting your resources.
The inspiration comes from old-school Everquest Necromancer Mana Batteries we used back in Endgame Raids. FEED follows the same logic buy being able to fill the group's resources with it's own.
Why Heavy Armor Makes Sense
FEED uses Heavy Armor on purpose. While it gives up passive recovery, it opens the door to something far more important for a healer, Major Mending from simply heavy attacking with a restoration staff. Something that many healers overlook and forget to have in their kit!
Light Armor does not increase healing done. It reduces costs and increases crit chance and penetration. That often leads healers into constant skill spamming, which sounds good on paper but completely ignores Major Mending.
Major Mending increases all healing done by 16%. You only get it by heavy attacking. If you are spamming, you never see that bonus. FEED is built so heavy attacking is not optional, it is the core of how the build works.
Heavy Attacks, Passives, and Resource Flow
Restoration Staff heavy attacks already restore 30% more Magicka than any other weapon and apply a strong direct heal. Heavy Armor then adds 4% more resource return per piece, giving this setup an additional 20%.
When you heavy attack an Off Balance target, that attack deals 70% more damage. Since the heal scales from the damage, that bonus directly increases your healing output. If empowered, it scales even further. At the same time, you restore double resources.
One heavy attack can heal, apply Major Mending, restore huge resources, and keep your sustain flowing. That single action does more work than endless spamming ever could.
Turning Ultimate Into Fuel
FEED uses a Mythic item that replaces your ultimate with a unique set-based one. Instead of casting an ultimate for yourself, you convert all of your ultimate into power for the rest of the group.
Nightblades already generate ultimate extremely quickly. Being a Vampire pushes that even further through Exhilarating Drain. Potions, Champion Points, and supporting sets accelerate the process again.
The loop is simple. You generate ultimate. You feed it to the group. That feeding helps you generate more. The more people you play with, the more value it creates.
In a due, one player receives everything you generate. In a four-player group, everyone gets a third. In a trial, the split is smaller, but the speed at which you build makes it add up fast.
When paired with builds like Malcolm or the ultimate-focused version of Nature’s Bounty , the result is constant pressure and nonstop ultimates.
FEED works in all PvE content. It is durable, consistent, and incredibly efficient. Your group stops thinking about sustain and starts focusing on killing things.
You are not a squishy healer. You are the engine that keeps everything running.

Class Mastery
Update 50 has given us a new system called Class Mastery in The Elder Scrolls Online. If you decide to remain 100% pure class, you gain access to five unique Class Mastery passives, but can only choose two. These are the two selected for this build.

Sap Essence can be swapped with Healthy Offering if you prefer targeted burst healing over HOTs however Combat Prayer serves also as a good spamable group heal close quarters.
↑ Back to Top🏆 Champion Points – FEED Nightblade Healer Setup
Champion Points for FEED are focused on group sustain, healing efficiency, survivability, and quality-of-life support. Since this is a pureclass Nightblade healer, CP choices emphasize uptime, recovery, and keeping the group alive through constant pressure.
Once you reach level 50, Champion Points enhance your performance across three constellations: Warfare (Blue), Craft (Green), and Fitness (Red). The selections below prioritize healing throughput, sustain, and defensive stability.

- Enlivening Overflow
- Soothing Tide
- Swift Renewal
- Rejuvenator

- Liquid Efficiency
- Rationer
- Treasure Hunter
- Steed’s Blessing

- Boundless Vitality
- Bracing Anchor
- Fortified
- Spirit Mastery
These Champion Points reinforce FEED’s identity as a high-uptime healer with strong sustain, fast ultimate generation, and reliable defensive padding for difficult encounters. Green tree choices are passive and convenience-focused — unlock freely over time.
↑ Back to TopHow To Play The Build
Feed is a healer first and foremost, which means this is not a rigid rotation-based build. Your priority is awareness — watching health bars, reacting to mechanics, and responding instantly to emergencies. You need to play actively at all times.
That said, there are fundamentals you must always maintain. If these are handled correctly, the build becomes smooth, forgiving, and extremely powerful.
Core Healing You Must Maintain
Your ground-based heals are the backbone of the build and must be active around your group at all times:
- Refreshing Path
- Healing Springs
- Energy Orb
These skills last roughly 10–12 seconds. They do not need to be spammed, but they must have very limited downtime. Get into a clean rhythm where they are refreshed naturally before falling off.
Between each cast, always weave a Light or Heavy Attack. This procs glyphs, builds ultimate, and allows you to benefit from Major Mending via Restoration Staff heavy attacks.
Buffs, Support & Group Stability
Once your core heals are under control, add the following layer:
- Blessing of Restoration – Maintain this for Minor Resolve on yourself and the group. With its long duration (even longer in Infinite Archive with Extended Favor), it is very easy to keep active.
This skill also functions as a burst heal, making it ideal to refresh during emergency situations without disrupting your flow.
Ultimate Generation & Resource Sharing
With your heals and buffs rolling, you effectively have two jobs:
- Apply Sap Essence roughly every 10 seconds to maintain Brutality/Sorcery and trigger your set procs.
- Spend the rest of your time using Heavy Attacks and Exhilarating Drain to build ultimate as fast as possible.
The more ultimate you generate, the more resources you feed back into the group. This is where the build truly shines.
In Short
Keep three heals active at all times. Refresh Sap Essence when needed. Maintain healing and resistance buffs. Spend every spare second building ultimate.
If played correctly, your group will be flooded with resources, able to spam abilities freely, and massively overuse their ultimate skills without ever running dry.
Do that — and Feed does exactly what it was built to do.
↑ Back to TopMundus Stone, Attribute Points and Race
Below is the stat setup for the FEED Nightblade build, focused on resource sustain, ultimate generation, and consistent healing output.
✔️ We are using the Atronach Mundus Stone. This massively boosts Magicka recovery, which directly fuels healing uptime and ultimate generation.
✔️ All 64 Attribute Points go into Magicka.
✔️ The recommended race is Argonian for sustain, healing received, and potion synergy. Orc, Nord, and Imperial are all perfectly viable alternatives with only minor passive differences.
Potions & Food
If you are using potions, you should be running Tri-Potions at all times. They restore all three resources and grant Major recovery buffs for the full duration. Do not let your potion uptime drop — maintaining these buffs is critical to your sustain. Don’t be cheap. Use your potions.
🧪 Tri-Potions
🍲 Flat Food (Max Health + Max Stamina)
Use the highest-level food available that provides Max Health and Max Stamina only. All options below give identical stats — pick whichever is easiest to maintain.
- Sticky Pork and Radish Noodles — White Meat ×1, Radish ×2, Flour ×3
- Garlic Cod with Potato Crust — Fish ×1, Potato ×2, Garlic ×3
- Braised Rabbit with Spring Vegetables — Small Game ×1, Greens ×2, Seasoning ×3
