Battlegrounds Jester is a non-CP PvP Dragonknight build designed specifically for Battlegrounds in The Elder Scrolls Online . While it can be used in Cyrodiil with or without Champion Points, this build truly shines in non-CP environments, where raw stat parity and unpredictable pressure matter most.

The goal of this build is simple: confuse, cripple, and overwhelm. Sheogorath would be proud. This setup revolves around constant, rotating buffs and debuffs with limited predictability, leaving enemies unsure whether to cleanse, retreat, push, or simply accept their fate.

Set Synergy Breakdown

The following sets are core to the build and define its chaotic, pressure-heavy playstyle:

• Daedric Trickery — Generates one of several random Major buffs when you deal damage. These rotate automatically, providing constantly changing offensive and defensive boosts for you and added pressure on enemies.
• Kynmarcher’s Cruelty — Applies a rotating Major debuff to enemies you damage, lowering their offensive or defensive effectiveness and making their counters less reliable.
• The Saint and the Seducer — While in combat, you gain one of five random Major buffs that changes every 10 seconds, and enemies within 12 meters receive a corresponding Minor debuff based on which buff you have. These effects rotate through pairs like Major Berserk with Minor Maim or Major Resolve with Minor Breach, keeping the battlefield unpredictable.

Together, these sets create a constantly shifting aura of disruptive effects that frustrate enemy players and force them into reactive play — exactly the kind of chaos this build is built around.

Strength in Numbers

While this build is effective solo, it becomes genuinely unhinged when multiple Battlegrounds Jesters are played together. Because the buffs and debuffs are not fixed, their effects can stagger, overlap, and stack across multiple players.

An enemy might be affected by one rotating debuff from you, while simultaneously receiving a different debuff from another Jester running the same sets. Minor and Major effects coming from multiple directions make cleansing inefficient and counterplay unreliable.

Add two or three of these builds alongside a pocket healer, and enemy teams quickly lose control of the fight. Their resistances fluctuate, pressure ramps up unpredictably, and escape becomes extremely difficult.
